Good News

I got a call from the doctor today and the tissue from my pregnancy is not cancerous! That is a huge praise! I have an appointment with my midwife on the 12th. I am assuming that is when I will start getting blood taken every week to monitor my hormone levels. I will keep you all posted. :)

Here are some verses and quotes that have brought me comfort during this time.

"God has his comforts for His afflicted ones. His people are never so assured of His love as then, for there is love seen in their afflictions." Thomas Manton

"Let us come with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need." Hebrews 4:16

"My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience." James 1:2

"trials. This Greek word connotes trouble, or something that breaks the pattern of peace, comfort, joy and happiness in someone's life. The verb form of this word means to 'to put someone or something to the test,' with the purpose of discovering that person's nature or that things quality. God brings such tests to prove - and increase - the strength and quality of one's faith and to demonstrate its validity. Every trial becomes a test of faith designed to strengthen..." John MacArthur

"Now if we are children, then we are heirs - heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in His glory. I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us." Romans 8:17&18

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him." Romans 8:28

Amen, Amen, Amen.

I have learned that is never the trial--it is what we choose to do with it that matters.

Big hug to you!

The two of these that have helped me rise again many times are Hebrews 4:16 and Romans 8:28. ec

Rue stopped by yesterday to visit, and said that you are doing so well. He is so proud of you, Annie. I know when your next child is born, you will not take it for granted, and that will cause even greater gratitude for life. That is a gift. It is all a matter of time now...
