Here are 12 of my favorite pictures from the past year. It's always hard to stick to just 12 since I have many pictures from this year that I love, but I did my best.

Daniel's First French Fry
While we were in Seattle the other day we went to Ivar's for lunch. Daniel got his first try at sitting in a high chair in a restaurant and he loved it. Everyone told me I should give him a french fry. He loved it and just sucked on it until it was pretty much mush.

Eva-Karin and Garry's Visit
We have had a wonderful visit with my cousin Eva-Karin and her husband Garry (from LA). They celebrated their first anniversary on the 27th.
On Monday we headed up to Mt. Rainier to play in the snow. Sadly, Ruh had to work so he didn't get to come with us. The day was sunny and gorgeous and even though some clouds decided to hide the mountain the majority of the time it would still peek through the clouds occasionally. We took a short walk on some groomed paths and really wished we had snowshoes. I put Daniel in the snuggli and boy is he getting heavy! He is a lot heavier than when we went on hikes this past summer. I'm thinking it's time to buy a backpack for him to be carried in.
You can see part of Mt. Rainier peeking out by my green hat in the picture below. The hat is from Vietnam from Mai Huong, my brother's fiance. I LOVE it!
We also took a day trip to Seattle on the ferry. We walked along the waterfront, ate lunch at Ivar's and walked through Pike Place Market.
Daniel was a little trooper.

First Official Post Back in the Blogging World
As my first official post back in the blogging world I thought I would post the video I made of our trip to Mammoth and Yosemite this last summer. Now that the holidays are coming to a close I really start to look forward to the arrival of spring and summer. Watching this video gets me all excited for that first hike of the season. I know I have a few more months to go and I plan on filling up the winter months with sewing projects, cooking new, healthy recipes, training for my first 5K race I plan on running with my sis-in-law Ruhiyyih and watching my little guy grow everyday. Also the winter Olympics are coming and that is always something to look forward to. Enjoy the video!

I'm back...
Well, at least I am back for a little bit. I am not sure how long I will have internet but I am in the process of finding a new template for my blog and planning some new posts. I think I really like this notebook template. :)
