Snow!

Daisy has missed a total of 4 days of school due to power outages and snow. She of course has been having a great time but will have to make it up at the end of the year. Yesturday Rue, Daisy and I went outside for a little while to play in the snow and do a little sledding. I went down the hill a couple times but then I got a little nervous that I was going to crash and somehow hurt the baby. I am sure that is just "first-pregnancy-worry" but we still had a lot of fun. And of course Rue threw a lot of snowballs at us but I don't think any I threw at him actually made contact. I didn't take any pictures yesturday but my parents took some of their property which are so pretty.

You all have certainly had an eventful winter! The pics are gorgeous.

I think the baby would have been totally fine even if you had crashed. :-) He/she is probably the size of a pencil eraser right now and well protected inside you. I remember being so conscious and careful when I was preggo so I would have been worried too.
Welcome to motherhood!

What beautiful pics! I REALLY wish that I could have been there. We have not had ANY snow in DC yet... it was 66 degrees on Monday and 24 degrees today...poor clouds are confused!

Your mom sent me some photos too, Annie, and I'm using one of them. They are so beautiful. But the cold temps have been hard, and I've not gotten out for my walks as usual. I'm glad to see the ice thawing. ~ Bonita

It is all a slushy memory now, sigh. There is still a bit of ice on the pond and the snow that fell on top of it is still there. I think your Dad out did himself with those pics!!

The blog now has my name as a choice under identity. Interesting. I don't know how it got there.

SNOW!! I LOVE SNOW!!!

How gorgeous everything is =). And, I agree with Jessie, the baby would have been just fine, but I too would have been extra careful ;o).
