Oh boy, that is going to be tough. A year is an awlful long time. My prayers are with this family too. I'm glad Hannah's family is close by, supportive. I know that you, too, Annie, will help to lighten Hannah's load. And, that is one precious photo, with big kisses smashing Gabriel's face. I hope Gabe has a copy to take with him to Iraq.
What a beautiful family and fantastic picture!!We live in Hampton Roads, Virginia, which has a base/station/fort for every branch of the military within a 50 mile radius. The news is filled with deployments and arrivals daily, and I also have many military spouses for friends. I know how difficult this will be for this family and will certainly pray for them. Brien was in the Air Force for almost six years and we never had a long deployment, and I consider myself blessed.
God's plan is a family and this is a beautiful picture of one. It seems that man's plan is war and that interferes with the things of God - so sad for the families involved. ec
May God go with him!
Annie, I was just on Bonita's blog (7-7-06) and read of your loss. I wanted to let you know how terribly sorry I am and that you and your family are in my prayers.
Awwwwwww!!!! I wanna pinch his cheeks! I guess I'll have to wait until Sunday. :(
We will all miss you Gabe. See you in Heaven. :( Your loved ones will be well taken care of. What a witness you were to us all.
