Christmas Music Night

What could be more wonderful than going to a Christmas music program at church during the holidays!? Last night at our church we had a Christmas music program. The choir sang, the women's ensemble sang, the Men Singer's sang, the kid's choir performed, the choir and the kid's choir sang together and there were solos and duets. Chris Roger's played a piano piece that was absolutely gorgeous. And of course the congregation joined in and sang Christmas hymns. The lights were kept nice and low to create holiday embiance.

Here is the Kid's Choir. Noah sang "O, Holy Night".

Chris Rogers playing his piano solo.

I sang "Mary's Song".

Come Thou Long Expected Jesus

Come, Thou long expected Jesus,
Born to set Thy people free;
From our fears and sins release us,
Let us find our rest in Thee.

Israel's Strength and Consolation,
Hope of all the Thou art:
Dear Desire of ev'ry nation,
Joy of every longing heart.

Born Thy people to deliver,
Born a child and yet a King,
Born to reign in us forever-
Now Thy gracious Kingdom bring.

By Thine own eternal Spirit
Rule in all our hearts alone;
By Thine all suffucient merit
Raise us to Thy glorious throne.
